What this site does and does not collect, described in terms of how it is actually built. Moment Gallery runs no analytics, sets no advertising cookies, and stores nothing about you on a server.
How the site handles data
hello@moment.gallery§ 09.1
The inquiry form never posts to a server.
The form on the contact page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the site assembles the details you typed into a message and opens it as a draft in your own email app, addressed to hello@moment.gallery. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in that app, and Moment Gallery operates no form endpoint, database, or account system that could store the draft. If you close the draft without sending it, no record exists anywhere.
When you do send it, the result is an ordinary email. It is read in order to reply to your inquiry and to plan the work you asked about, and it stays in that mailbox like any other correspondence. Emails are not sold, rented, or added to a marketing list.
§ 09.2
Five things, stored in your own browser.
The light and dark theme toggle saves your choice in your browser under the key moment-gallery-theme. That value never leaves your device and is only read to keep the site in the theme you picked. Clearing your browser storage removes it. The contact form also keeps the inquiry draft it prepares in this tab's sessionStorage under the key moment-gallery-inquiry-draft until the tab closes, so the confirmation page can recover it if your email app did not open; like the theme, it never leaves your device. While you are still typing, the form also saves the field values themselves in this tab's sessionStorage under the key moment-gallery-inquiry-values, so returning to the page does not lose a half-written brief; the moment the inquiry is handed off to the confirmation page, that copy is cleared. If a deployed file is ever missing — mid-deploy, say — the page’s recovery script sets a timestamp in this tab’s sessionStorage under the key moment-gallery:missing-asset-refresh so the browser reloads once instead of looping; it clears when the tab closes, and it never leaves your device. Opening a client gallery with an access code remembers that unlock in your browser under a moment-gallery-access:… key, so the code does not have to be typed again on this device. Locking a gallery again — from its own page or from the client gallery list — removes that key.
The application sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or session replay. Cloudflare may run bot-detection code and set a cf_clearance security cookie to distinguish browsers from bots. The content security policy limits which scripts can execute and where connections can go.
§ 09.3
Hosting, links, and client galleries.
The site is served from Cloudflare’s network, so the usual infrastructure processing of a web request applies at that layer. Pages link out to Instagram; once you follow an external link, that service’s own privacy terms take over.
Gallery access codes control what this browser displays; they do not protect image URLs. The current delivery demo uses public portfolio photographs. An access code does not make those files private.
